10-3= Printing Stone lithograph prints
4-6= Preparing etching plate photograph
Overall, I am happy with the finished prints. However, I think I need to do this process more in order to perfect it. I was forgetting to do simple things such as drying the stone before printing and wetting it before applying the ink. Although these mistakes are simple and I have now learned from them, it has affected the prints. The ink has bled and blurred in places that should be sharper and there is an area on the print where I accidentally dropped ink on the stone which has been printed. Despite this, I do really enjoy making these prints and the stone shaped emboss around the edge gives a really nice addition to the piece. You can see the history behind the print.
